Sourcerers, philosophers, ponderers and mystics, gather now to probe the age old questions of our being. Here at Metaphysica, we seek to build language metaphors for that most slippery and elusive of creatures - reality. Through the use of logic, discourse, definition, and demonstration, we shall slowly build the framework through which we may absorb, understand, and manipulate the forces which shape our thoughts, our lives, and our omniverse.

No topic is off-limits here. Before we are done (and are we ever done?) Our ontological journey will take us through art and science, mind and body, spirit and substance, and, ultimately, to those places which lay beyond the grasp of all that is knowable.

In the immortal words of Timothy Leary, "Philosophy is a team sport. Practice it with your friends." I invite you, my friends, to help shape, alter, and transform these philosophies into something that can be practiced by, and will benefit, all.
