Someone asked about flotation tanks and kits a while back and I just
got some info on them;

I got this catalog in the mail, it says $5 but they sent it for free, 
called "Tools For Expoloration" (address at end).  On page 53 of the catalog
there is a section on flotation tanks.

Starting at $4000 you can get a tank in which you float in total darkness,
in 12 inches of body-temperature water saturated with 1000 pounds of epson
salts, "producing the most profound relaxation available on the planet."

The unit comes with a pump and filter and you can add accessories for built-
in transducer speakers for stereo sound (wouldn't that be wild...), timer, etc.

THE ALSO SELL *KITS* for "do-it-yourselfers."  However, info on this is 
not listed in the catalog, you can send for additional info on the tanks
by ordering the
"Flotation Tank Information Package" (NM220I) $5.00

I recommend getting the "Tools for Exploration" catalog. It is filled 
with some really trippy mind tools/games that range from reasonable things
such as "the Daydreamer" $16.95 which turns the sun into your own mind-toy...

...to $3000-$45,000 sound tables, that pipe speakers into a bed-like 
device and bathe the room and your body in light and sound.

Anyway, let me know if anyone gets the Flotation package.  I'm curious on
the costs of the kits, I've never ordered from this company, but I've 
been on their mailing list for 4 years now...don't know why. :-)

** Has anybody ever tried those "Mind Machine" glasses with the blinking
   led's  and headphones?  They claim to introduce a hallucinagenic-like (sp?)
