Usually called THC; Sometimes called delta-1-THC

THC is distinctive (but not unique) among psychoactive drugs in that it is not an alkaloid.

SolubilityNearly insoluble in water. Soluble in hydrophobic solvents such as butane.

Preparations:

  • Bhang
    A beverage made from the plant material of Cannabis spp.
  • Hash Oil
    Oil, often extremely potent, extracted from the psychoactive parts of the cannabis plant by various means.
  • Marijuana
    The flowering tops (buds) and occasionally leaves of the cannabis plant, commonly smoked.
