It gets better and betterFalling in love with smoking opium Substances: Opium The first time I smoked Opium I totally fell in love with it. After smoking a few balls of the stuff in a bong and holding in the smoke as long as possible, a wave of relaxation came over my body. My arms felt light and the music sounded a little delayed. I was definitely stoned on something! I felt fine, clear and lucid-not at all like I feel on weed, and then I started to say a string of stupid comments that made me realize that I was indeed under the influence of a drug! I closed my eyes, and instead of seeing the typical weed-induced series of random images, I saw a beautiful scene, perfectly clear. After the initial buzz wore off, everything was just like living in a dream. Everything was beautiful, images of my childhood passed through my mind, everything was mellow and subdued. But be prepared for the after effects: Around 3 hours later, a huge headache follows, and some of my friends threw up. As we smoked more, however, it got better and better, no headaches and more beautiful memeories. I've found getting stoned on opium works best if you have a little weed before you smoke the opium. Can you see why opium has been a problem throughout history???
