Using AMT as a stimulant

One night I tried to use low dose AMT as a stimulant. I took 15 mg at the beginning of a night class that I have (6 pm). Halfway through the 3 hour class I was getting restless. I was getting the beginnings of visuals by the end of it, but they never fully manifested. My class ended and I returned home. I was moving quickly, getting things accomplished, for the better part of three hours. I finished my math homework without much difficulty (although I did give up on the really hard problems quicker than I sometimes do sober.) Eventually I was done (and done with other chores I had been doing.) I decided then to smoke some pot. I loaded a bowl of shake from a large stash of weed, most of the shake was red hairs (which once bristled with sticky resin to catch pollin.) I smoked it out of my bubbler, and got quite high. About a half an hour later, I smoked a similar bowl out of the bubbler. Now I was incredibly stoned. One red hair hit gets one really high. Two red hair hits and the residual trippiness from the AMT got me incredibly stoned. All of a sudden there were visuals dancing everywhere. There were the same as most high dose THC visuals (ripples in things, long afterimages, sparkliness to the air everywhere) but the AMT definately put in a character of its own.

Gives me an idea for a future trip... a bit of AMT (a stimulant dose, not a fully psychedelic dose) to keep you awake and alert, and an incredibly huge amount of cannibis. It would definately be a way to see just how high pot could go, and all with a subtle tryptamine flavor to it. Well even as I speak now the air sparkles and shifts (its now 1:30 am, an hour since smoking...) I think Ill go smoke another bowl and go to bed..
