birthday at a rave

Substances: MDMA, LSD

Let me just ground this by explaining that it was my first indoor Rave. My third experience with MDMA, and my umpteen thousandth experience with Uncle Syd.

The day after my 21st birthday was a party called Fantastic, that definitly lived up to it's name. We got there and dropped the E probably 60 or so mgs. It was rumored to be laced with H but we all know about the falicies behind that. The party was mostly Trance and progressive trance, and I was having an awesome time. About two sets in I went to the outdoor chill area to check on my party cadre. The minute I got there everyone was calling me the birthday boy and this guy I had never met before threw to hits into my mouth. (Not exactly the worst thing that could happen). Anyway, about 40 minutes later we were dancing to the amazingly tight set that Ty Tek always seems to have instore for us. About that time I started to feel the effects of the Vitamin A kicking in. Suddenly I start to hear the X-files theme song and a sudden beat drops and moves the floor, at that exact moment a programmed intelli-beam flashes right at me. It was the first time I had ever acctually felt a light. Once the light moved away from me, I looked at where I was and realized that I was against the wall, three feet away from where I was when the beam hit me. It was then that I discovered the true power of the Rave. Everything about it just seemed so clear. Ever since that moment I can not flip without a fat techno beat.
