Prepare to be impressedNo expectations Substances: 2C-T-2 Set: No expectations, tired but in a good mood. Setting: Initially indoors, later outdoors, in a country where 2C-T-2 is legal. Dosage: 24 mg of 2C-T-2 spaced out over a 30 minute period.
T+0: First 8 mg pill swallowed with some orange juice. My first experience with this material had been kind of a disappointment, took 16 mg and had lots of unpleasant physical side effect with little psychedelic effect. I had much lower expectations this time, as I had not even planned to trip. But since I was in a good mood, I thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea. I decide to induce some novelty by putting on Spectrum's album "Forever Alien", which I just got and haven't listened to yet. It's great, even though the song "Owsley" is reeeeaaaaally strange. T+60: I'm lying down in my sofa, staring at the patterns that are beginning to form in the ceiling. My face feels hot, kind of like when on MDMA, some mild trails. I feel some slight nausea. T+75: I feel very positive, in a MDMA-like way, but not of the same magnitude. The visuals are quite similar to the ones I get from a 100 mcg dose of LSD. I think about how nice it is, and how high expectations I had built up the first time I tried 2C-T-2 made me unable to be impressed. This time I had allowed myself to wait until the effects made themselves known, instead of being locked into observer mode. Suddenly I have a few convulsions, but avoid throwing up by taking a few deep breaths. After this there wasn't much physical discomfort, except for tense jaw-muscles. T+90: I get up for a while, my sense of balance is quite affected. I think about how ridiculous it is to put energy into fighting the existence of drugs, and if the authorities really don't realize that if crop eradication is even slightly successful, those drugs will be replaced by synthetic ones. I open the door to my french balcony and look out. A purple flower catches my attention, and I admire it for several minutes before I lose interest. I switch to Sonic Boom & Spectrum "What came before after". T+180: I decide it's a good time to go out, so I take my bike and go for a ride to a nearby hill. From there I watch the beginning sunset while I have a live tape from '92 with Sonic Youth playing in my walkman. After 30 minutes I walk down the opposite side of the hill, and find it to be full with Trifolium Pratense. I suck the nectar from a few of them, and I am pleasantly reminded of how I used to do so when I was a kid. I admire the purple and green hillside for a while, before I walk down to a landing-stage by the nearby lake. I spend the rest of the sunset sitting there in a yoga position meditating, admiring the sun and the refelection of it as it disappears below the horizon. I am experiencing something very religious and transcendental. By focusing at a point a bit further away, I can get the illusion of the landing-stage moving, instead of the water flowing. I go for a bike ride on the small gravel roads through a forest, and return back home at T+270, when I'm pretty much back at baseline, except for some visual activity. When I go to bed at T+450 I fall asleep within 5 minutes.
