Green Tongue

A report of extraction action

Substances: Salvia divinorum

Okay, the fifth attempt to experience Sadi. This time it was the early afternoon. I prepared my bedroom to be as dark as I could (which wasn't too dark). I took the appropriate amount of the German Sadi extract and followed the instructions on how to allow it to absorb through the mucous membranes in my mouth. (By the way, this stuff *really* turns your tounge green).

After about ten minutes (with the blanket over my head to aid in keeping it dark), it seemed as though the darkness in front of my closed eyes got more expansive. It was no longer regular darkness, now it was more like I was in a BIG room of darkness. There was some yellowish "washing" of light across my field of vision. It seemed like perhaps there was some kind of very subtle fractal-like patterning (at one point it looked like a circle of red children (just their silhouettes) holding hands looking down a well from which a light was shining. Later, it seemed as though I was seeing a light blue light with a warping of material around it which looked like tiny veins (capilaries?) that were dark blue.

I still wasn't transported in any way, and the effects were so subtle that it seemed as though my mind might have created them even if I didn't consume any Sadi (you know, just being quite and in the dark and paying close attention to the insides of my closed eyelids).

I decided to try and boost my dose by taking two big bong hits of dried Sadi that a friend had given me about a year and a half ago. This wasn't the stuff from JLF (which didn't seem to do anything), but rather the stuff that I tried on my first attempt. I was amazed at how much smoke I could suck down (usually, I have at least a little trouble taking HUGE bong hits). The two hits didn't seem to do much, and it appeared as though the effects (if there were any in the first place) were lessening.

Just then the phone rang (oops, hey everybody... remember to take your phone off of the hook when performing experiments). The caller was a friend who wanted to go out to lunch. I abandon the project, and spent some time brushing my teeth & tounge. I felt a little bit "out of it," but not too much.

I am still amazed by some of the reports I have read and heard about Sadi, due to the non-effects (and "subtle" effects) which I have experienced. I may try to do a simple extraction on the JLF leaves (as mentioned in the William White FAQ on Salvia divinorum). Also, I should soon be getting a couple of hits of pure extracted Salvinorin A (which is apparently QUITE bizarre, not at all like smoking or chewing the leaves, but more like a high dose smoked DMT trip as far as its intensity). I'll keep trying and keep you all posted.
