Surf Those K Waves!

A wild report about the K-zone

Substances: Ketamine

Weird to describe the experience. After hearing so much about K-land, the k-zone, lilly's ramblings and all the discussion on this list I decided to try it for the first time.

I had been warned that as a first timer I might need to take it easy. Well, I tried about 1/10 gram (intranasaly) and was blown into a kind of DXM world. That's the closest it felt like. Kind of like a disembodied eye floating around inside myself checking out different parts of my (sub)consciousness. Openning my eyes everything seemed quite normal, except for the weird distortions of space and sound. No fractals, hallucinations, etc.

So I spent most of the time with my eyes closed. After about 1 1/2 hours I was baseline again. Unlike DXM though there was no groggy feeling. I felt quite allright.

I can see why it is addictive though. It's like interactive VR. You chose what you want to be, where you want to be, and what you want to see/feel/hear. The thought that came to mind while tripping was that the whole point was to surf those K-waves, riding them into parts of myself that seemed interesting.

I'm sure a larger amount would have been infinetely more interesting, and injected (although it sounds fucked up) is probably definetly the way to go.

For a one time experience though, it was definetly fun. I dunno if it could be called an entheogen, too much VR to it. You are forced to confront any parts of yourself really... or maybe that's just me.
