Double Dose

A Visual 5-MeO Experience

Substances: 5-MeO-DMT

Previously I'd tried about a matchstick head's amount in my vaporizer, only to find that the only thing I felt was a large thumping pain in the back of my head. This time I decided to try double that dose. I inhaled the contents in 2 large successive tokes and even before exhaling I was almost knocked to the floor (from a sitting position.) Unlike previous attempts, I was engulfed in colourful distortions of the environment around me. The music slowed down considerably in my frame of mind, and time seemed to come to a complete halt. Panic hit me at first, as I sat thinking that I had taken way too much. There were also some extremely strange bodily sensations. On the one hand I was feeling ecstatic, yet on the other hand I had a headache'y sensation and a sensation that my muscles were totally clenched up. I remember seeing the beginnings of what looked like beings suspended in the middle of space, but I had the feeling I hadn't completely broken through into their dimension.

The journey only lasted about 5 minutes with residual effects lasting about 15 minutes after that. It does surprise me however that unlike many other people's experiences I did have quite a lot of visuals.
