This route, like the insufflated route, offers the advantage of a shorter and less nauseous journey. Unlike potent smokable tryptamines such as DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, and DPT Freebase, all of which cause an intense, fast-moving psychedelic voyage lasting only about 10 minutes, 5-MeO-DIPT comes on slowly and lasts for several hours when taken in this manner.
