Strong minty taste; Toxic

Oral The dose of menthol for internal use is from 1/8 to 2 grains in pill, capsule, trituration, or olive oil.
Transdermal For local uses, ointments, liniments, and solutions are employed in strength ranging from 5 to 20 per cent.
