Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've seen the post from Eleusis. Unfortunately,
he gives no refs. I was wondering had ever tried it (or found a bit of 
paper stating that someone else had tried it). I've searched the library
a bit, but still haven't come up with anything.

Hexamine is pretty easy to come by..
