Death-dancing into Life

« on: November 06, 2009, 03:50:29 AM »

I'm unsure if this is the right place to post this but... I wrote some replies under "Trip reports-Sativa smoke report" last night and went there today as Gnome seemed to have replied. However, it was a previous reply he'd sent. In other words, my replies hadn't arrived. However, the reason I wrote the replies last night is that I had already replied before and they too hadn't arrived. This hasn't happened before and the only thing diff from usual is that my original report was moved from Visionary Plants to Trip Reports. Could in some way this be involved with the non-arrival? I would like to reply to those who replied to my report  smiley

Lets see,
I checked the trash can so I know they weren't deleted....
I saw that you had a response in the various strains/ diff effects thread, is it possible that you responded in the wrong place or perhaps in a pm? The only other thing I can think of is that you might of hit the preview instead of post and closed the window. I'll admit to having done both of those things more than once  daaaaamn
The thread having been moved shouldn't effect the ability for anyone to reply. Sorry I know that I didn't have any answers but I figured you'd at least want to know that much.

Edit: If you were trying to reply to the thread in Vis plants instead of in trip reports that would prolly explain it.

Make sure when you post that you don't get the "While you were typing someone responded..." message that doesn't let your post go through until you send it again.  I sometimes will click post and then get up or close the browser window only to see later it didn't go through and there's that little annoying red message sitting there!

Thanks Guys, your're prob right about the post/preview mixup, or the someone-posted-while thing. In my experience operator error, me, is usually responsible for 99% of such hangups. I'll try again and make sure I keep my eye on the ball  smiley

Or you could copy it before you press post and paste it again if it disappears.

The Lycaeum exists to foster the free exchange of information on a subject that is taboo in today's world. However, there are limits to what we can discuss. No person shall post anything which discusses ongoing or future illegal activity, or which can be construed as discussing ongoing or future illegal activity. A simple guideline for appropriate posts is to always keep them impersonal and timeless. Posts which can be construed as indicating that a particular person, even if anonymous, is engaged in illegal activity will be deleted and the offending member removed. Public trading or discussion of commercial suppliers is forbidden in all forums. Do NOT ask about suppliers for any substance, legal or not. Keep posts on topic or they will be deleted. *HINT: A post regarding amphetamines within Visionary Chemicals is not on topic.
