WOOOOOOW. What a weekend.

This festival was like a close-knit family gathering. All amazing, friendly, and helpful people.

Thursday night, I sat in the grass listening to the Rumpke Mountain Boys all night long, and got dosed with some absurdly good L by a friend of the Rumpke Mountain Boys. It's a group of 4 of them: a guitar, a bass, a mandolin, and a banjo. I sat in the same spot 10 feet from the stage until what must've been 3 or 4am (I have no idea, really) trippin out to these guys. They were playing some really intensely psychedelic and groovy shit, I was really in a totally different world.

Looking up at the sky, the stars seemed to swallow my visual field, like I was being absorbed into their magnificence. It was so great to see so many stars, being that I was so far from city lights.

Day two, went on some hike in the woods, exploring the beautiful Hocking Hills. Bought some kind of mango kush, definitely some two-hit-quit stuff. Tasted like I was smoking straight hash. There was some pretty good opium going around, too. I just hung out by the stage playing frisbee, smoking lots of herb, and drinking wine. Tons of good bands, especially Papadosio.

Saturday, my girlfriend came around 2pm, and we both dosed with some Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds. Shortly afterwards, I also ate 25 or so rivea corymbosa seeds, and found 2 more hits of some blotter (Felix the cat on one, and a Mandala on the other). Spent the day laying in the grass listening to the music, and sitting by the fire listening to this couple sing beautiful harmonies on the banjo.

I couldn't have asked for a better last weekend in Ohio
 I am quite happy!

Hear Here.

Beautiful women in airy peasant blouses with flowers in their hair.  The sounds of many kinds of music in the air and the smells of food and herb everywhere.  Lots of voices tinkling with laughter.  A mystic smile plastered across my face as I walk in golden haze of a perfect high through a modern day scarsburough fair.

Yes, nice memories made in such environs,

I've always found smaller gatherings to be way more...chill, personable, friendly, positive...big blowouts with big headliners can be a lot of fun too, but very, very different. commercialized, shade-ball magnets.

glad u caught p-dose pshmell. their free EP is pretty sick (papadosio.com). wish I was could been there.

p.s. mango haze??? NIIIIIIICE!
