No, it wasn't growing sideways. Maybe you've had a little too much to drink...

Two beautiful visionary paintings of a white flowered Datura. The painting on the left is of the seed pods. I will try to track down the artist's name, which I have on a card somewhere.

Thanks harry potter

Speaking of Harry Potter flowers, I had these Beautiful 'White Cloud' Papaver Somniferum Paeoniflorum last year . I heard somewhere those things had a ton of opium in 'em, but I don't get into all that illegal stuff, I just like how pretty they are, lol. grin

I'm jealous of the Trich flower. I haven't been able to get mine to flower at all this year since moving into a new place. Not enough all day sun.  sad

Nice pics, Daylight. The flowers of Trichocereus look so heavenly  cool

And Carlo, that strain of poppy is really beautiful too! Does it have a variety name that you know of?

I planted some hawaiian baby woodrose seeds a while ago, after nicking the seed coat and soaking the seeds for a day. So far seven out of eight seeds have germinated! If I can borrow a digital camera I will post pics of the seedlings smiley
