Listed below should be all the information one needs to join us for real-time communication via IRC. First, we will cover something simple. If you have never used IRC before or are just too lazy to install a proper client then, you can choose one of the options below. * Note: All web clients listed below will open in a new pop-up window to allow you to chat and continue to browse the web at the same time.Listed in order of ease of use:* Note: Sometimes the initial connection with the Java client fail. If so, just leave the client open and hit the Connect button again.Extra InformationChatZilla - IRC Addon for FireFox. Wikipedia IRC Clients - Huge list comparing most of the IRC clients. Basically you want to find your operating system and look through the clients to see which might fit you best. If you are unsure just ask. Hope this helps some of you. This post will be updated and edited as needed. And finally, here is a link to IRC help. *Note Some school and workplace firewalls prevent people from joining, we are working for ways to get around that. That is actually a very good idea. No Opts, but some good honest discussions. Intellectual-Science, consciousness - altered consciousness, a little wit- who knows. Definitely no tearing anyone down or idiotic statements that hurt. |

That is interesting because from what I remember, you even suggested that I use the channel I use! I do not even bother to go to the other channel(s). I really do not have a “beef” with anyone who treats others and me with respect. I just have a few friends that come around and yes; it is nice to touch bases with them. I do not sit and glower over the screen. Perhaps, I might open a window in the evening while doing other things and get on a channel sans "controllers" who've taken on the moral cause of limiting speech content. It is of course, the channel you suggested. After all- it is only the flow of electrons stirring an image on a screen, no need to get viscerally emotional about any words said unless you are insecure to begin with.
