It was a while ago but IIRC it was a 3mg formulation. 3 nights @ 3mg, 2 nights clear, 3 nights @ 6mg, 2 nights clear 7 nights 9mg. No effect noted, insomnia uneffected. undecided
Trazodone was still the best sleep aid I ever found. In 45min -1:15 one just feels sleepy. Not drugged, whoomped or out of their head. Just like sleep would be nice. Easy and pleasent to wake up on too. Safely mixes well with alcohol too!

Downsides of course are that its MOA is completely unknown undecided but it was used as a anti-depressant for many years. Now the weird thing is that trazodone's active metabolite is m-CPP! How the fuck does that make people tired? It explains the antidepressant effect though grin Great stuff, now I kinda miss it. Hmmmm.....

There could be an indirect mechanism not unlike that one in the case of mirtazapine, or there could be histaminergic antagonism.
