 Kratom with an MAOI?

Has anyone tried combining kratom with either syrian rue or caapi? I couldn't find anything on Erowid.
What about safety of such a combination? kratom has both stimulating and sedating effects so I suppose that is a slight concern.
I was pondering whether kratom might make a good ayahuasca admix if used in very small amounts.

I personally would stay away from a kratom/maoi combo, without getting a plethora of info first...info that is probably pretty hard to come by, due to the fact that kratom is little known in comparison to many other ethnogens.  Kratom has many alkaloids present...I think a figure I saw was 25+ indoles and such.   That to me seems like a clear indication to stay away from making those things stay in the body the way an maoi would...but thas just my opinion. 

Also, I've heard of many people getting sick from Kratom, although I don't.  I don't know if its the tannins or perhaps some of the chemicals have emetic properties...don't want those things floating around your bloodstream too long.

It does not sound like a good idea. The MAOI may cause a hypertensive crisis (high blood pressure spike)  during the stimulant phase of the kratom's effect.
A converse hyportensive (low blood pressure with possible faintness ) effects could then follow during the narcotic analgesic phase of the kratom's effect. All and all, it could be unpredictable and hard to treat in an emergency.
