That centipede thing is freakishly similar to what crawls out of the wall at the end of Tool's "Prison Sex" music video, which I was just watching. Any connection, or just coincidence?

Thankyou all for your feedback. By the way. I just published a Visionary Art Book entitled Metamorphosis which included the work of Alex Grey. More about this here: http://forums.lycaeum.org/index.php/topic,20802.0.html

I love your work Jon! Please keep it coming!  cheesy

I'm not artisticly gifted, that I'm aware of, but occasionally a scene will jump out and grab my attention. So, snapping the odd photo is about all I'm good for. This one caught my eye this morning after an all night GBL + ketamine bender. I never even noticed during all the activity. That's the remaining K in the bag....

I was initially thinking that the picture doesn't meet the high standards previously set by others in this thread, but the more I look at that picture the more interested I become in the shadows.

There are some COOL things down in that picture.   Look at the layers man!

Afternoon of photo taking, bout two years ago. The sun was out and hardly a cloud, but a storm was coming and the energy was immense...and the mushrooms were strong...

Wow! I'm amazed!!!
Compared to some of your work mine is just average - ordinary water colour on paper and by far not that visionary and therefore it might not be the right place to post pics of some of my paintings, but anyhow...

Sorry for the bad quality and the big size (I did resize them at photobucket but somehow they didn't get smaller huh)

Just finished this one last night. Minimal sampling and mostly real playing. Would be nice to know how this track translates to your system. Which instruments/effects get problematic at which point...damn I need a better studio!

Nice stuff Mark.

I've listened to it twice now and I liked it best the second time.

I think you've actually got the bones of 5 songs here.  Maybe seven depending on how you count you might be able to flesh this out into an album side; say twenty minutes or so.

I counted three distinct melody lines at around 1:25, 2:30, and 3:30.  The second one has a definate Reggae feel.  Around 5:15 you start a possible new melody then revisit the Reggea theme.  At 6:00 there is the start of a new song with a jumping little bass solo start.  Then another possible reprise song to end it up.

I really liked the ending from 6:45 on to the end.  Nice effect on the vocal, not overdone but clean enough to pick out clearly.  Is that You singing?   grin

You've got some great material there and I'd love to hear more.

(Kermit is green with envy  wink)

Damn, VB. Those are great.

Drew this back in '02 or '03 when I was half-way through my tagging venture.

COSM was my name.

I planned on putting that up in a tunnel in the local irrigation canal switching yard in AZ but never got around to it.
