Aurora by Chari Chari, from the Deep and Sexy 2 album. Damn that's a great album. Downtempo and chill house.

Croc- that's a fun album.

Right now I'm listening to the sound of my foot tapping restlessly against my desk. I wish I could listen to music at work.

Thanks for the DnB pick, 6th. I checked out Concord Dawn based on your earlier post and liked it. Checking out London Elektricity right now. Almost reminds me of LTJ, which is a huge vote of approval for me. I love LTJ with such a passion. When my Church of Psychedellia starts up, LTJ will be like our organ music.

Seriously though, I hate that LTJ's brand of "intelligent" DnB pretty much died on the vine. Everyone who was into it sort of started going more jazzy or pop-ish. DnB pop isn't terrible though, High Contrast is pretty nice. But it still can't hold a candle to LTJ. Logical Progression Level 1 is the best album ever created IMHO.

LTJ really is one of a kind. All else are just imitations or approximations. There is a lot of other atmospheric drum n bass out there though. Blame has some good stuff along those lines too.

Here, a special track for you (and one I love very dearly): Lamb - Gorecki (Global Communication Remix)

It'd be nice if someone would upload this "Logical Progression Level 1" thing.... seems to be the hardest one to find (of course).  angry

YES!!!! One of the best songs. My favorite part of that song is: "Starin' down the hole again, hands are on my back again, survival is my only friend , terrified of what may come," and then the best:  "Bwayr rawr rawr wan, 'ways love you, and then I'll blow your fuckin throat away. It'll end no other way."

 grin

What am I listening to now? Some rap song coming through the bathroom door.
