Current 93 - "Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain".
Everyone should buy this and listen to it on a heavy dose of psychedelics.

Hehe. I'm just feeling in a real cabaret mood, since I got tickets to see Capitol Steps--a Washington-based political satire that makes a total mockery out of all those DC guys. It's great!

I'm listening to some of their songs, it sounds SO funny--Obama Mia!!!! LOL

The best part is probably the fact that all the songs were written by former Congressional staffers.  cheesy

Dug out Herbie Hancock's first solo artist release.  With Watermelon Man.  This is another of those albums with THAT wonderful synthesizer on it.  The Original Dr. Who show used the instrument in thier introduction sequence, as well as Tonto's expanding Head Band, and Stevie Wonder used it on several albums.

Can't think of the name of it now.  Some Acronym of letters.

Memory is like swiss cheese and these facts have fallen through the holes,

this guy is quite an athlete. at first I mistook this whole thing as some kind of neo-Olympic sporting event, complete with a numbered shirt and white coach cheering him from the sideline.

This is interesting. Both Film and Iz Us are on the soundtrack of Zim's mesc extraction video (which is how I was exposed to Aphex. Found Zim at the Nook IIRC and asked him what the name of Film was. He was kind enough to reply.) Now, Iz us pops up outa nowhere. Really odd in that just this morning I reviewed the extract video and heard both tunes again, then came straight to this thread only to see it pop up again.

went to Itunes and listened to the clips from Ether Teeth.

There's no apparent bridge between Ether Teeth and hip hop, at least not any hip hop I've heard.

Can't really get a grip on it from the short clips. Can you upload what you'd call a good example of his stuff?

The Lycaeum exists to foster the free exchange of information on a subject that is taboo in today's world. However, there are limits to what we can discuss. No person shall post anything which discusses ongoing or future illegal activity, or which can be construed as discussing ongoing or future illegal activity. A simple guideline for appropriate posts is to always keep them impersonal and timeless. Posts which can be construed as indicating that a particular person, even if anonymous, is engaged in illegal activity will be deleted and the offending member removed. Public trading or discussion of commercial suppliers is forbidden in all forums. Do NOT ask about suppliers for any substance, legal or not. Keep posts on topic or they will be deleted. *HINT: A post regarding amphetamines within Visionary Chemicals is not on topic.
