Subject: "Blue Star tattoo" vectored in Navy paper
From: Bryan Beatty <firstname.lastname@example.org>
I recently received the following from a friend in Guam. Apparently, the Navy newspaper there recently vectored the "Danbury Hospital" strain of the "Blue Star Tattoo" UL:
>I just opened the latest addition of our local navy newspaper >and found this warning for parents. I'm thoroughly disgusted >and disheartened and hope this is not happening in your neck >of the woods, o9f course that is yet another example of the >fact that I would love to look at the world through rose >colored glasses and can't. >>received from James O'Donnell at the Danbury Hospital Outpatient >>Chemical Dependency Treatment Service. >>"A form of tattoo called 'Blue Star' is being sold to school >>children. It is a small piece of paper containing a blue star. >>They are the size of a pencil eraser, and each star is soaked >>with LSD. >>[snip]
My well-meaning friend then e-mailed this warning to several dozen friends. I wrote back to her with a pointer to the afu FAQ on the subject, but I suspect the outbreak has already spread.
