Dextromethorphan

Dextromethorphan (DXM) is the primary active ingredient in most over-the-counter cough remedies. It becomes psychoactive at higher dosages, acting as a dissociative anesthetic most similar to Ketamine and more distantly related to PCP. Please see the FAQs for information concerning dosage-related effects and potentially deadly interactions between DXM and other drugs.
