Ah, hi new to this forum, but have been wandering through the posts, noticing all the helpful info regarding mainly the extraction of DMT and related tryptamines from all-natural plant sources. I attempted the Phalaris extraction a couple of years ago without success, and kind of shelfed it. Oh well guess I was caught up in the excitement of the initial self-discovery and had rush out and purchased loads of seeds. Had this ambition to be Jonny Phalaris seed or something. So I just want to post this new topic to maybe see if I could perhaps shed some info to some and garner some from others. Essentially, I get the feeling that it is nearly possible to produce n,n- with some commonly available commercial products and alot of sweat and watching things boil for hours, but there maybe a couple holes still that perhaps we can fill as we go along with our pure intent.
Firstly- dimethylamine Hcl- See the methylamine FAQ 2.6 on Rhodium, I don't got a clue what methylamine is used for but I assume to E/Speed type thing. However if one were to add another potion of formalin into the reaction vessel, you will be left with crudedimethylamine Hcl which you need to refine with chloroform, which you can make with bleaching powder and nail varnish remover, or other way like passing chlorine gas through alcohol. Basically maybe the Methylamine FAQ 2.6 should be updated or a new brand new Dimethylamine FAQ could be written up. Also a good method for converting the stable dimethylamine Hcl to dimethylamine in water solution 40% or whatever. Ether can be made by distilling Methylated Spirit, and then dripping the remaining crude ethanol into a reaction flask with sodium hydroxide (drano).
Dry it over Calcium chloride (drying agent) and maybe sodium, so the ether i s real dry. As for the indole, you can make it perhaps from indigo or mothballs, I don't have much info on this one, as I am still working out the khem. This one could prove to be like a complex equation with several stages on. More info with time. That only really leaves the Litium Aluminium Hydride and the Tetro Hydro Furan. Now the LAH is possible, and again, difficult, but as the 2ndary intermediate in the synthesis of n,n is storable, I haven't got to that yet. THF is nearly impossible unless your a close to a professional chemist, so you might have to find a way to buy some.
Anyway, hope this helps or you could lend your vast chem knowledge to me, to reach the final product.
